Ms. Sarah’s Virtual Classroom is a completely online educational experience for your preschool-age child based on the WV Pre-K Early Learning Standards.
It is recommended for ages 3-5, preschool and Pre-K.
This 15-week preschool program will include everything you need to engage your young child while staying safe at home. Each week, your child will have two ways to engage in their virtual classroom. Twice a week there will be a 20 minute live zoom meeting that will be like a circle time or morning meeting in a traditional preschool classroom. Each classroom will have a maximum of 10 children.
Along with this virtual live classroom experience, there will be a variety of hands on activities to complete throughout the week. By interacting with the virtual classroom, your child can hear stories, follow along with songs and fingerplays, create art projects and crafts, work on literacy and math skills, participate in science activities, learn bible lessons, and work on fine motor skills all lead by Ms. Sarah.
Each week, a new set of activities and skills based around a new educational theme will keep your child learning and having fun. All of your materials for the 15 weeks will be provided. Material kits will be provided three times throughout the session. Some materials will be used throughout the 15-week session so you will be provided a special container to store all of your learning materials. While other activities will be a one-time activity, such as a craft, other activities can be repeated over and over.
Our private Facebook group will help keep you up to date on everything you need to know about our zoom meetings and the updates to the virtual classroom. This is also a great way for you to show Ms, Sarah what your child is doing.
Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s in psychology. She had been teaching preschool for almost a decade.
